About Me


Steven is a Professional Life Coach, Mindfulness Practitioner, and Training Psychotherapist in County Laois, Ireland and online.

Steven (he/him) has extensive experience working in social care, having worked both professionally and voluntarily for over a decade. Steven is completing a Master's degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (due to be completed in March 2023) and is a member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) following their Code of Ethics and Practice.

He provides clients with a collaborative relationship in which they can explore specific concerns and develop more meaningful and resourceful ways of living and being. This relationship is built on trust and respect for the individual's ideals, personal resources, and capacity for self-determination.

Areas of interest (include, but not limited to): Gender, Sexual, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD), LGBTI+, anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, loneliness and isolation, grief and loss.

Steven holds a Bachalor of Arts (Honours) in Social Care and a Professional Diploma in Personal and Business Coaching. Steven completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher Training at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto, Canada, and completed an Applied Specialization in Mindfulness Meditation from the University of Toronto. Throughout his life, Thich Nhat Hanh's teachings of mindful living and mindfulness meditation continue to inspire him.
